19th Century Swedish Mechanistic Drawing by G. Mannerskantz

Large red and black ink mechanistic drawing done at the Tekniska skolan, Stockholm, signed and dated  18 oktober 1887, by Gustaf Mannerskantz.  The use of red and black ink on a cream ground anticipates the De Stijl movement.  A great example of antique/modern mix.
